Selena Gomez wishes kidney donor Francia Raisa a happy birthday

With a single Instagram publish, Selena Gomez shut down rumors that she and her longtime buddy and kidney donor, actress Francia Raísa, have an estranged connection.

Along with three undated photographs of the duo, Gomez wrote on Wednesday, “Happiest of birthdays to this exclusive human being. No make any difference where daily life takes us, I enjoy you. ❤️ @franciaraisa”

The submit for Raísa’s 35th birthday, which counted much more than 2 million likes in an hour for the top-adopted woman on Instagram, arrives 8 months immediately after Gomez named Taylor Swift “my only close friend in the business” in a Rolling Stone job interview released Nov. 3.

After the interview, fans pointed out that the “Developed-ish” star did not follow Gomez on Instagram and speculated no matter whether the remark could have been a factor. The “Only Murders in the Creating” actress at the moment follows Raísa, but not vice versa.

Raísa reportedly posted a comment on Nov. 5 that only mentioned “interesting” in advance of immediately deleting it beneath an E! News post about Gomez’s quotation.
