A female was training at a Florida health and fitness center when a male grabbed her and pinned her to the ground, officers claimed.
But the lady — a self-described bodybuilder — held combating again, online video from the fitness center exhibits.
“I would notify each individual woman always to continue to keep fighting, under no circumstances give up,” Nashali Alma explained to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies shared the footage on Feb. 15, nearly a thirty day period soon after Alma noted the attack at a Tampa-area condominium complicated. The 24-year-aged reported she was functioning out on your own on Jan. 22 when she observed a gym patron she regarded and let him within.
But later on, the person reportedly approached her and experimented with to touch her. Alma informed deputies she pushed the gentleman, yelling for him to again off.
“He began chasing me around the bench, and we ended up on the other facet of the fitness center,” Alma mentioned in the video that the sheriff’s place of work posted on social media.
In that component of the health club, a digital camera captured the male trying to pin Alma to the floor. But she regularly hit the man even as he pulled her to the ground, video clip shows.
“When it was happening, I essentially experienced no panic,” Alma informed WTVT and WFLA. “I am a bodybuilder, and I’m actually rather robust, so in my mind, he was kinda equivalent to me.”
